Walking into Shenzhou Tech: Relighting Nokia Spirit and Driving Innovation Forward
Beijing, China — At the Heart of Zhongguancun Integrated Circuit Design Park
The Nokia Community, a vibrant global network of former Nokia colleagues, came together once again—this time at Shenzhou Tech, a company founded and led by former Nokians. Members of this unique community span industries from electronics, technology, and telecommunications to finance, education, and media. What connects them all is a shared origin at Nokia and a lasting commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Nokia Spirit Lives On at Shenzhou Tech
The event was held at Shenzhou Tech's facility in Beijing, where old friends reunited with warmth, laughter, and a deep sense of shared identity. For many, Nokia is more than just a former employer—it represents a formative time, shaped by the slogan: “Connecting people.” That legacy continues to thrive in the hearts and actions of its alumni.
The event had the joyful feel of a family reunion. Many participants brought their children, turning the day into an inspiring and educational experience for the next generation. These multi-generational meetups have become a cherished tradition in the Nokia community.
Tony Wu: From Nokia to Beijing Shenzhou Tech
Tony Wu, founder and General Manager of Shenzhou Tech, worked at Nokia for 15 years across manufacturing and R&D. In 2015, Tony and four fellow Nokians co-founded Shenzhou Tech, carrying forward Nokia’s rigorous technical standards, high-end lab equipment, and collaborative management style.
Tony proudly noted that over 70% of Shenzhou Tech’s staff are former Nokia employees — a testament to the enduring power of Nokia’s culture. “No matter what Nokians do, they do it with teamwork and total commitment,” he shared.
Innovation for the Next Generation
As part of the event, Shenzhou Tech opened its labs for hands-on learning. Visiting children had the chance to build chip-powered model cars and gain a practical understanding of China’s chip innovation landscape. It was a fun and meaningful way to plant seeds for future innovation.
Celebrating Partnership and Friendship
The day also featured a gathering of the “Nokia Hardware Three Musketeers”:

Joining them was Han Dongxiao, Manager of Shenzhou Tech’s Testing Center. During the event, Tony presented awards to two outstanding partners, reflecting the spirit of camaraderie and cooperation that continues to define this close-knit group of professionals.
A Lasting Legacy of Innovation
This event was more than a reunion. It was a celebration of Nokia’s enduring values—people-first innovation, teamwork, and excellence — and how those values live on in the next generation of entrepreneurs and engineers. For Shenzhou Tech, the Nokia network is not just part of its origin story — it’s a vital part of its continued success.
